Yerai Cortés

Alicante guitarist Yerai Cortés arrives at Theatro Circo with his acclaimed show Guitarra Coral, a project that reflects the mastery and new vision of one of the most unique figures in contemporary flamenco.

Born in 1995, Yerai approaches flamenco with unusual depth. His style, which evokes the spirit of masters such as Sabicas, combines the gypsy tradition inherited from his family with an ability to expand the boundaries of the genre. His versatility has led him to collaborate with masters such as Rocío Molina and avant-garde figures such as C. Tangana, whom he accompanied on the Sin cantar ni afinar tour.

Guitarra Coral is a bold and essential proposal that has sold out venues throughout Spain. The show is based on his first solo album, La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés (2024), released in parallel with C. Tangana’s documentary of the same name. The audiovisual project was unanimously acclaimed, winning the 2025 Goya Awards for Best Documentary and Best Original Song Los Almendros, consolidating the musician’s cultural impact.
