Miguel Araújo

Miguel Araújo returns to Theatro Circo to present his new album of original songs, Por Fora Ninguém Diria, which arrives ‘at the crowing of the cock on the first day of next year (2026),’ as the artist describes it. The album revisits the creative process behind works such as Cinco Dias e Meio and Peixe Azul, songs that produced themselves, born from demos that ended up becoming, almost intact, the final versions. Recorded throughout 2023, 2024 and 2025 at Estúdio Chiu in Porto, the album brings together songs that ‘did not yet know they would be released’, preserving the spontaneity and truth of the moment in which they were created. Miguel Araújo played all the instruments, as well as writing the lyrics, producing and singing. The visual work of the album features photographs taken in Parque do Rio, in Ofir, a place of childhood and fond memories for the artist.
