Maria Vitória lives in a remote village in the Portuguese mountains and plays football for the local boys’ youth team. Determined to turn professional, she devotes all her free time to intense training with her father, Nacho. Their routine is disrupted by the unexpected return of Bruno, her older brother, who left many years ago after a tragic fire that took their mother’s life. As she prepares for the most important game of her life, Maria begins to question her father’s authority and the weight it places on her existence. Little by little, she seeks a way to free herself, understand her true desires and take control of her future, far from the shadows of the past.
