LISA GERRARD E JULES MAXWELL

In November 2022, Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell, from
Dead Can Dance, showcase live, for the first time, their acclaimed album “Burn”.
Produced by James Chapman and released on Atlantic Curve in May 2021, “Burn”
includes seven emotionally resonant compositions which cross, drama, dynamics, exuberant
electronic textures and rhythm in a luxuriant set.  Lisa Gerrard is an unavoidable name in the
more challenging side of contemporary music, but also the target of popular
devotion thanks, for example, to her participation in such things as the original
soundtrack to the film Gladiator: the collaboration with Hans Zimmer has in
fact won her a Golden Globe. On his side, Jules Maxwell, who plays keyboards
for Dead Can Dance, has a vast musical trajectory, writing regularly for
theatre, including for the Shakespeare Globe Company  in London.
