Heinrich von Kleist is one of the most important German writers of the turn of the 19th century. Poet, playwright, novelist, short story writer and journalist, Kleist is recognized as one of the greatest names in universal literature. His influence has extended to the field of aesthetic philosophy, but also to literature, and he is considered one of the greatest figures in European literature. Host – a comedy according to Molière, is a pure exercise in intelligence and pleasure, between the refinement of language, between the plausible and the fantasy. Host is a very personal reading of Myth and classical texts, in a comedy that appears to be misleading for the times we live in.
