Carminho
Eu vou morrer de amor ou resistir
Carminho’s unmistakable voice returns to Theatro Circo to present her seventh album, Eu vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir (2025), a deeply committed work in which the artist explores the fluidity of the genre, in her most experimental album to date. Featuring eleven tracks – eight of which she wrote herself – Carminho is joined on this album by Laurie Anderson, Mário Laginha, and the poetry of Ana Hatherly.
From critical acclaim to collaborations with icons such as Rosalía, Carminho has broken down geographical and stylistic barriers. In cinema, her contribution to the soundtrack of Yorgos Lanthimos’s award-winning film Poor Things stands out.
Carminho is, without a doubt, one of the most significant Portuguese voices of today. In Braga, she will showcase the new work that earned her the award for Best Album of 2025 from Blitz/Expresso.
