Frente e Verso: GoldenLady
Mercedes Quijada
Two Andalusian women and a Greek woman dance with a women’s choir in an intense dialogue between voice, body, and sound. Straddling tradition and modernity, gestures inspired by flamenco and martial arts respond to ancestral song, alternating between exhaustion and delicacy and revealing a shared essence of womanhood. The soundscape unfolds in real time: the voices of the performers, the choir, and the sound artist intertwine, creating a living organism where movement and sound influence one another.
Supracasa is a program supporting artistic creation in the performing arts, focused on co-production, artist residencies, and public presentations of new shows. The program contributes to the creation of sustainable conditions for the development of contemporary artistic creation.
