The opera Papa est Mort – António Feijó, o poeta que morreu de amor (Papa est Mort – António Feijó, the Poet Who Died of Love) celebrates the exceptional figure of the diplomat and Parnassian poet António Feijó.

With music by Fernando C. Lapa and libretto and staging by António Durães, the work premiered at the Diogo Bernardes Theater to conclude the celebrations marking the 900th anniversary of the Charter of Ponte de Lima, and now comes to Noite Branca. It features soloists such as Sara Braga Simões (soprano), Marco Alves dos Santos and Leonel Pinheiro (tenors in a double cast), and Tiago Matos (baritone), accompanied by the Toy Ensemble under the direction of Maestro José Eduardo Gomes.
