Formas de Fazer: National Ballet Company

The Formas de Fazer cycle offers a series of activities alongside the performances, with the aim of creating a space for sharing practices, methodologies and working methods among artists and collectives visiting the theatre. Aimed at students, professionals and amateurs in the performing arts, the project promotes workshops, masterclasses and exhibition sessions, providing an environment for sharing experiences and new learning. In this session, we will have a classical dance technique class with the National Ballet Company.

Dance is, above all, a discipline that develops and evolves through practice and the transmission of knowledge from generation to generation. In recent years, aware of its central role in this very particular transmission of knowledge, the CNB has been working continuously with specialised arts schools and free education schools through different training initiatives.

Thus, as part of the National Ballet Company’s Talent Development Programme, the CNB teaches a Classical Dance Technique class to students from local schools.

Target audience Dance students aged 15 and over, preferably at an advanced level
