The Sinfonietta de Braga returns to the Theatro Circo with a new show that explores music as an infinite language of the dialects it represents. Re:Opera proposes a conversation in two languages, creating bridges between musical universes - opera as an erudite genre and, in this first performance, fado as a musical style. Throughout the show, fado and what is considered to be the greatest human drive - desire - are celebrated, while at the same time we meditate on determinism and free will, opening the door to fate, fortune and passion from the word fado. 

The Sinfonietta de Braga is made up of a collective of young artists and is dedicated to programming, training and musical creation, celebrating the past and projecting the future. In this opera, the musical direction is by Jan Wierzba, the musical composition is by Pedro Lima, and the staging is by Daniela Cruz from the libretto by Marta Pais Oliveira. Artistically curated by Artur Caldeira, the musicians performing are Raquel Mendes, Tiago Correia, Sofia Marafona, Rafaella Veiga and Rui Vieira.
