Rafa Jacinto & Roberto Terra with Jo Castro
In the Contexto cycle, we propose a series of talks in which we take a show from Theatro Circo's program as our starting point and bring together artists and people whose areas of activity intersect with the themes and issues addressed in that work.
Starting with the play Oz ou a Estrada?, by Rafa Jacinto and Roberto Terra (Ardemente company) - a revisiting of the famous story of The Wizard of Oz, aimed at teenagers - we'll be talking to the Ardemente company and Jo Castro, a queer artist who develops projects in the areas of dance, performance, voice and sound. We'll follow this journey that combines fiction, artistic creation and gender issues, to explore themes such as desire and challenges, self-discovery and acceptance, between cyclones, magical lands and stages of transformation.
