PinyONYX is a dreamlike ritual of vacuum and presence, the pause before chaos and chaos itself, in the annulment of the boundaries between political and social intervention and the creation of a space filled with silence, noise, non-linear information, weight and fluctuation of time.
In this performance called Nem sequer um início (militancy performance), we hear the voices of the mothers of the two performers on stage, two women who moved from the African continent to Portugal at a time when April 25 was approaching or had just happened, exploring future memories of past times that have yet to be lived. Creating a space of ritual resistance, eroticism, celebration, vulnerability and power, it starts from a documentary and speculative universe where, based on personal stories and references, a dreamlike and political space is built. It's a time that doesn't exist, full of memories and future, where we wander through migrations, dreams, loss, voices and future ancestry.
Piny is an artist, architect, performer, dancer and choreographer, creator of shows such as HIP. a pussy point of view (2019) or G.Rito (2022).
