Capra – or how to say hello to fear
Roxana Ionesco
A show created from an ancient pagan tradition in Romanian and Moldovan collective memory—the New Year goat—a ritual of renewal. A CAPRA (GOAT) that seeks to mirror our innermost selves—those parts that, because they are so unknown, frighten us. Fear blocks me, the unknown blocks me, but not here. CAPRA is the connection between the past and the future, a “CAPRA-bridge” that allows us, collectively, to question what lies beyond Fear. — Roxana Ionesco
Capra – or how to say hello to fear is Roxana Ionesco’s latest creation, part of Supracasa, a programme supporting artistic creation in the performing arts.
