Paris, late 1980s. Stella, Victor, Adèle and Étienne, young actors in their twenties, have just been admitted to one of France’s most prestigious theatre schools, Les Amandiers, founded by Patrice Chéreau. These young people take their first steps in their careers and in life, forming new friendships and discovering the realities of passion and love, against the backdrop of a changing culture. Based on the director’s intense memories (she attended the school herself), between chaos and affection, Les Amandiers – Forever Young is an affectionate and nostalgic portrait of youth and self-discovery.
