Empire’s Island tells the story of Ascension Island, located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and how it was propagated across three centuries serving the interests of emerging empires.

The show is part of the index 2024 – art and technology biennial program.

The INDEX Biennial of Art and Technology is part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the April Revolution.
