Lucrecia Dalt’s return to Braga marks an encounter with one of the most fascinating minds in contemporary music. The Colombian artist, based in Berlin, cemented her international reputation with the acclaimed ¡Ay! (2022), named album of the year by ‘The Wire’, and with her compositions for the soundtracks of the series The Baby (2022) and the film Rabbit Trap (2025).

In this concert, Lucrecia Dalt presents her most ambitious and personal work: A Danger to Ourselves (2025), created in collaboration with David Sylvian and featuring Juana Molina, Camille Mandoki, bassist Cyrus Campbell and percussionist Alex Lázaro. Unlike previous albums such as ¡Ay! or No era sólida (2020), in which Lucrecia evoked stories of imaginary or literary characters, on this new album the Colombian artist moves away from fantastical narratives to explore a more personal side. ‘The Quietus’ praised the transition to a more intimate and cinematic territory, describing the album as a courageous exploration of the human psyche.
