Manuel Bellesa

Organist and educator Manuel Bellesa arrives in Braga to present his solo piano jazz album, Cicloide (Cycloid). Originally released in February 2025, this conceptual work spans nine tracks that seek to musically capture the various decades of a civilizational cycle on Earth.

With an eclectic career that began in the 1970s and spanned progressive rock, fusion, and acid jazz, Manuel Bellesa devoted more than 25 years to the iconic Hammond organ before deciding to return to the acoustic piano, following the pandemic. Cicloide (Cycloid) marks precisely this reunion with his instrument of choice.
