Wunderbarerweise überlebt Emily den Unfall unverletzt und wird von einer fremden Familie aufgenommen. Bei ihnen verbringt sie einige Zeit und findet Trost und Unterstützung, um ihr Leben wieder auf die Reihe zu bekommen. Doch mit der Zeit bemerkt sie, dass etwas mit der Familie nicht stimmt. Emily beginnt, sich zu fragen, wer diese Menschen wirklich sind und welche dunklen Geheimnisse sie verbergen.
