MIT 2026: The Bremen Town Musicians
Surkhandarya Regional Puppet Theatre (Uzbekistan)
Based on the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, The Bremen Town Musicians, this theatrical adaptation presents the entertaining adventures of a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster—all poor and unwanted, abandoned by their owners for being considered useless. Rejected and homeless, they decide to travel together to the city of Bremen with the dream of becoming musicians. However, along the way, they change their minds and settle into a country house. During a series of lively adventures, the animals encounter thieves who intend to take over the house. Working together, they scare off the thieves and successfully defend their new home. Thus, the friends remain in the country house and live happily together. A heartwarming story about friendship, kindness, and mutual support, The Bremen Town Musicians warmly welcomes young audiences.
