“There is always someone who knows someone.
There is always one of us who knows someone who has been through it. Someone else knows someone who knows how.
There is always someone who tells us the way, or someone who takes us there.
We may choose not to see it, but that does not mean it does not exist. After all, there is always someone who knows someone.

In 2027, it will be twenty years since the decriminalisation of Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy in Portugal, achieved through a major mobilisation of civil society and confirmed by two referendums.

What path has been travelled since then? Is the right to abortion currently under threat? While, on the one hand, this may seem to be an issue that has long been settled in our society, on the other, a reactionary fog continues to linger, threatening to push us backwards.
