Open call to the public from Theatro Circo

2026 marks the twentieth anniversary of Theatro Circo’s reopening. To celebrate this occasion, the artist, creator and performer Raquel André is developing a tribute performance dedicated to this venue and the stories it holds. To bring this creation to life, we are looking for people who wish to share their memories as spectators and witnesses to artistic events at Theatro Circo, and who can recount the many stories of this place. We want the stage to be filled by the public: by their stories, desires, aspirations and dreams.

This call is open to anyone aged 18 or over who is available and willing to share stories about their relationship with Theatro Circo.

The group of participants will be invited to take part in the show celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Theatro Circo’s reopening, with a single performance on 31 October.

When applying for this project, please ensure you are available to take part in the performance and attend workshops on the following dates:
2 and 3 June • 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
21 to 25 September • 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
3, 17 and 25 October • 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
26 to 30 October • 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
31 October • 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Note The activity is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. Should the number of applications exceed this limit, a selection will be made based on criteria of representativeness and inclusion, as well as the artistic needs of the project.
