Paradise is Other People

Based on the book of the same name by Valter Hugo Mãe, O Paraíso São Os Outros (Paradise is Other People) is an immersive show for children and young people, which starts from a question as simple as it is immense: where does love reside?

Through the voice of a girl who observes the world around her, we follow a sensitive journey through different forms of affection — in families, animals, friendships, everyday gestures — in a tender and attentive look at human relationships. Through a sensory stage device that brings performers and spectators closer together, the show invites listening, thinking and sharing, making the encounter a central place: a place of identity, emotional construction, a possible paradise. With original live music by Leonardo Outeiro and performance and vocals by Beatriz Brás, words and sound intersect in a space where one can slow down, feel and celebrate the importance of others.

More than a narrative, O Paraíso São Os Outros is a sensory and poetic experience, which proposes a collective time of contemplation on love and its presence in the world.
