Paraíso: Soraia Ramos

Descended from a Cape Verdean family, Soraia Ramos was born in Portugal. She then lived in France and Switzerland, and only returned to Portugal when she signed with her current label Klasszik. As a result of the covers she released online, she began to receive invitations to collaborate. He fell in with C4 Pedro, NGA, Calema and other powerhouses of Portuguese-speaking music: a status he soon achieved in his own name, without filters, but with an undeniable voice.

In 2020, she won the award for best female artist in Central Africa at the 6th edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards 2020 (Afrimma), was nominated for four categories at the MTV Awards and was chosen to be on the cover of Spotify’s EQUAL playlist, the largest female playlist in the world, earning her an image in Times Square.
