WONDERLANDI proposes an itinerary in which music is the performative epicentre, using rhythm and melody as a choreographic matrix, capable of structuring and orchestrating bodies, objects, texts and intentions. Although there is no consensus on whether music or language came first, it is undeniable that the course of our history would have been different without the invaluable contribution of this intangible heritage. Lander Patrick is a graduate of Escola Superior de Dança and has collaborated with people he admires, such as Luís Guerra, Tomaz Simatovic, Marlene Monteiro Freitas, and Margarida Bettencourt. In 2012, he formed the duo Jonas&Lander with Jonas Lopes. The creators’ work is recognisable in the dance scene with its unique contours, exploring the fusion between different performing arts. In 2015, they founded Sinistra, Jonas&Lander’s production company. In cinema, they participated in the film Body.
