Two Andalusian women and a Greek woman dance alongside a women’s choir in an intense dialogue between voice, body and sound. Between tradition and contemporary practice, gestures inspired by flamenco and martial arts respond to ancestral song, moving between exhaustion and delicacy and revealing a shared essence of what it means to be a woman. The soundscape is created in real time: the voices of the performers, the choir and the sound artist intertwine, forming a living organism in which movement and sound continuously influence one another.
Supracasa is a programme supporting artistic creation in the performing arts, centred on co-production, artistic residencies and the public presentation of new performances. The programme is committed to creating sustained conditions for the development of contemporary artistic practice.
